2008 Palmerston & Rural Markets Bigger & Better
The Palmerston & Rural Markets are a family orientated non-profit organisation. Now in it's 26nd year, the markets have really come of age with something for everyone. Located in the heart of Palmerston's CBD, the markets centre of activity is Goyder Square, which is close to the Palmerston Shopping Centre and a short stroll from the main bus interchange.
Every Friday evening the markets provide live entertainment, ranging from multicultural dancers, country and western bands, mainstream bands and a DJ who entertains the kids with their favourite music, clowns also put on a show with games and competitions and lots of prizes to give away.
We have over 200 stalls selling everything from hot food, cold food, drinks, desserts, fresh fruit and veg, art, handicrafts, kids rides, novelty items, jewelry, plants and body massages. The more relaxed atmosphere of the Palmerston and Rural Markets ensures a more enjoyable evening for the whole family.

THE 2009 MARKET SEASON HAS COME TO AN END. THE AGM WILL BE HELD ON THE 9TH OF FEBRUARY 2010 AT 6.30pm AT THE MARKET PLACE GOYDER SQUARE PALMERSTON. ALL STALLHOLDERS AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE URGED TO ATTEND. APPLICATION FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE AGM. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR MAKING 2009 A GREAT YEAR
