2008 Palmerston Markets Bigger & Better Than Ever
The Palmerston Markets are a family orientated non-profit organisation. Now in it's 22nd year, the markets have really come of age with something for everyone. Located in the heart of Palmerston's CBD, the markets centre of activity is Goyder Square, which is close to the Palmerston Shopping Centre and a short stroll from the main bus interchange.
Every Friday evening the markets provide live entertainment, ranging from multicultural dancers, country and western bands, mainstream bands and a DJ who entertains the kids with their favourite music, clowns also put on a show with games and competitions and lots of prizes to give away.
We have over 100 stalls selling everything from hot food, cold food, drinks, desserts, fresh fruit and veg, art, handicrafts, kids rides, novelty items, jewelry, plants and body massages. The more relaxed atmosphere of the Palmerston Markets ensures a more enjoyable evening for the whole family.
